Present: Ken Perregaux, Mark Fitzgerald, Mike Poe, Keith Jackson.

The Meeting was called to order at 7:25 PM.

The Minutes of the June meeting were approved as written.

Fall 2004 Update:

1. CMYSL starts August 28th and ends October 30th. Make up games will be scheduled for Sundays.
2. There are updated rules for large and small town divisions. You can have no more than three (3) MAPLE players on a D2 team. Teams with more than three (3) MAPLE players will be placed in Large Town D1.
3. Team placements have been submitted to CMYSL by Mike Brodeur. Rosters are due by July 31st.
4. It was noted that there is minimal room available for late registrations of the U10, U12 & U14 age groups.

Ken Perregaux noted that 45 girls had attended the U12 Division 1 team tryouts. Keith Jackson noted that 42 boys had attended the U12 Division 1 team tryouts. Both Ken & Keith gave special thanks to the independent evaluators that participated in the tryouts.

Mike Poe, MUYSA Educational Coordinator, is checking into the availability of the league staff for some coaches clinics to be held this fall. He will report back to the club on possible dates.

Mark Fitzgerald reported that the West River Street Soccer Field project is nearing completion. Hydro seeding is expected to take place in the next few days.

Mark Fitzgerald reminded all present that Gary Crompton’s Soccer 101 summer camp has been scheduled for the week of August 2-6 at Miscoe Hill School. All other MUYSA matters were tabled until the next meeting.

The next MUYSA meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at 7:15 PM at the Rose Garden, Upton, MA.
