The Meeting was called to order at 7:22 PM.

Don Morin made a motion to approve the July Minutes as written. Ken Perregaux seconded the motion. The motion carried.

Ken Perregaux, MUYSA President, noted that there were no outstanding issues from the July meeting.

Don Morin, CMYSL Coordinator, reported that he has preliminary schedule and all MUYSA teams are listed. The Fall season will begin September 6th and end November 1st for most age groups. Don noted that there are games scheduled for October 11th, Columbus Day weekend. Don is awaiting an updated coaches list from CMYSL.

Ken Perregaux noted that the U6-U8 girls numbers were down from previous years. There was a general discussion in that regard. All age groups have coordinators although a Hood Field Coordinator is still needed. Mark Murray is the Miscoe Hill Coordinator.

There was a general discussion regarding the travel program for the U8’s with Sutton. There are fees involved with the program and further information is needed before a decision can be made to participate. Ken Perregaux will follow up in this regard.

Ed Mullarkey, Grover Field Coordinator, reported that he is reviewing three (3) bids received for the irrigation project at Grover Field. Ed will submit a recommendation to the club for approval. Ed mentioned that additional repairs will be scheduled to specific areas of the field and that the DPW would be assisting the club with the relocation of the shed. Ed has discussed with several town boards the possibility of adding informational parking signs on the street to try to assist neighbors with access to their homes. Ed will propose a solution with associated costs at a future meeting.

Ken Perregaux mentioned he had been contacted by a couple of local photography companies whom were soliciting MUYSA for the possibility of taking team pictures. After a general discussion it was agreed to table this item for future discussion.

It was noted that Bob Burke would be constructing another storage shed for the club to be used at Memorial field in Mendon. The cost was estimated at $300.00.

Mark Fitzgerald reported that utility poles and power had been supplied to the field at Kiwanis Beach thanks to the efforts of John Johnson, Jr., Parks Supervisor. The pump is functioning for the well and the irrigation will be installed after new loam was added to regrade the surface. Work will commence after the fall season is over. The field is scheduled to be off line for next spring.

The next MUYSA meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 2nd, 2003 at 7:15 PM at the Rose Garden.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 PM.
